Spring Cleaning:: All Natural Carpet Cleaning

I had a lovely time off last week. And even though I didn't blog at all, I DID have a list of many household organizing and cleaning projects. Unfortunately, I didn't get to all of them, but I made a sizeable dent.

One of my to-do's on my list was to get the carpet in my bedroom clean. The only carpet we have in our entire house is in our bedroom. I thought that was a safe place to put it - where there would be no chance of it getting stained or dirty. I was wrong. How in the world we had SIX black stains on the carpet is a mystery to me?

You can see here, the stains. And I wanted to clean them without using any chemicals - we don't have any in our home. No bleach or ammonia or anything that isn't all natural.

So I set out to find a few different ways to get the carpet clean. I have made a printable for you {you can see above} with THREE different ways to clean carpet naturally. One of them has to work, right? I scoured Pinterest and found three place that gave me three ways that were inexpensive and all natural ways to clean my carpet. I opted for the first one {on the above printable}.

And, it worked! First try! I got the recipe for this carpet cleaning HERE. Baking soda, lemon essential oil, and vinegar. That's it! It worked. Go to the link to learn more specific instructions on how to clean the carpet.

The other two ways were my back up and I will use if anything else happens, but you can find those here and here. To print up this carpet cleaning printable, go HERE. Do you have another all-natural way you clean carpet?
