January 2014 End of the Month Wrap Up

It is the end of January and we are off to a good start at becoming and staying organized in 2014 with "No Excuses".

Dirt turns into...

It's been a bit since I shared the progress on our front yard - which we are planning to make drought resistant and native. Here in Southern California, we are currently experiencing drought-like conditions already this year. We have had very little rain and likely will not get much this next year. So, for us, watering our front lawn to keep it green has been expensive and not worth it, in my opinion.  

No Excuses:: No Time

What do you need more of? Time? Yes...we all want more time, right? But, having NO time to get organized is a bad excuse! Why? Let me tell you.

Garage Organization: Cupboards

My garage is more organized

Our garage has such a hard life. It's the one area that seems to be organized one minute and a mess the next! How about you?  Since I am only 1/3 of the way done truly getting the garage organized, I decided that I needed to get another third done and painted it a couple of weeks ago.

Fabulous Pantry Details {part 2} + a Giveaway

Last week I shared my fabulous kitchen pantry that I re-did with NO PAINT. I never shared the BEFORE and after photos or all the details. So, today I plan to share all that with you and answer any of your questions about how I organize it and what I used.

Well, I did it! I went on TV and talked about organizing...I was SO nervous! Seriously, I thought I was going to throw up when I first heard about doing this. God was gracious and helped me to be calm. I also used a couple of my essential oils {Focus Blend and Grounding Blend} on the bottoms of my feet and Calming Blend on my wrists and neck to help me stay focused and I think I look fairly calm!

A Pantry Organized and All Prettied Up! {Part 1}

I would say that I am in my pantry a dozen times each day or more. It's one of my favorite things about my home. I don't have a fancy or elaborate kitchen, but this pantry was a big reason that I am fine with that. So, I wanted to change my pantry from drab to fab! The best part is that I did it without any drop of paint!
